Founded in 1974, DIVER magazine was North America's longest established scuba diving publication, until it's closure in the Fall of 2023, after the passing of Publisher, and ocean legend Phil Nuytten.

It was a small, independent title respected by diving's most famous and accomplished names.

I was the Editor, Art Director and Staff Writer, working on the publication for 12 years, with additional help from Virginia Cowell.

 

The title will be missed, it had some fantastic articles from colleagues Jill Heinerth, Brandon Cole, David Doublet, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Michael Menduno, and dozens more from around the world.
